The pick submission protocol has been modified a little with respect to the NFL Games. Due to the multitude of options when it comes to cutoff times, exclusion of some games in some pools, combined with issues people have with email/junk mail getting filtered out, and high peak times causing a slow submission speed and possibility of failed saves, we have changed the way the picks are saved. In addition we have added the ability for investigation by the manager after submission in caseof any doubts. This document will cover some of the main points.
Pick Submission
The main picksheet submission form now has a notification bar to make players wait until the entire process is complete. We have found some quick clickers can actually click away from the page before the process is complete. So the following modifications have been made. (survivor/loser are not affected by this as their save/send procedure is already separate)

1. When you click submit, you will see this image for about 5 seconds. When the process is complete, the content will refresh with the new information
SAVED. We stress the word saved because with the possibility of browser errors these days with people using everything from a cell phone to an ipad to submit picks, the process will now finish the save process, and wait 3-5 seconds before sending the confirmation.
Pick Confirmation
2. When this image appears
these are the official picks. Review these picks carefully because these are the official picks. The email will be sent
after this screen appears.
Pick Investigation
3. Managers will always receive emails from players about pick discrepancies. There are always the players who submit 10,20 or more times until they are happy with their picks. Until now, we have only been able to show the last modifcation date, and the latest info saved.
We have changed that by adding a change-log that will actually log all picks changes, each time the player makes his picks. So, theoretically, one player could have 20 or 30 or more entries for a single week. This is because some players do change their picks that often. Since activating the log today, we noticed one player has already changed his picks 47 times.
When the manager pulls player picks up on the admin side of things, he/she will be able to see a timeline of every pick a player has made for the week. This will show the changes that have been
submitted. If a player ever submits something that is different from what was officially saved, presented, and emailed to the player, it will show up in the changelog. The manager can see this, and make a judgement call of his own if he wishes. We are confident that this should not be necessary, however, with people trying everything from submitting symbols instead of numbers in their game totals, and registering players with $ signs, # signs, and ? marks, data submissions can be broken for a number of reasons.
The changelog timeline looks like this:

We think this will help you decide if a pick needs to be adjusted, or if a players picks are accurate. They are shown in date order from newest down to oldest. If Over/under, or confidence is a factor, the players picks will also show up below the team pick.
Survivor/Loser Tracking
The Survivor Loser tracking will be similar. The newest pick saved will be on the top, and go down from there to older submissions.
You can see in this image how as picks got added, the list of picks grows, and as they get taken away, the same is true. Each time there is a change, a timepunch is made.
