New Pool Checklist 2012-08-10

Please use this checklist to ensure you get your pool setup easily, and quickly. If you need this checklist again, it's in our help documents on the main page, just search for "New Pool" and you will find it.

Please follow these step by step

Locate your pool You were sent an email with the location of your pool. Click on that link, and a window will open with your pool ready to be setup.

Login to your pool This is the most basic of requirements, both for your players, and for managers. In order to login you will need your ID and Password, both of which are in your welcome email.

Launch the manager console If you login as the manager of your pool, with the id and password you used to setup the pool, you will see an extra icon in the login section.
This is the way the logbox looks. The hammer/wrench icon in the middle is the one you click to launch the manager console.

Setup a Game Click on the ACCOUNT tab to tell us what game you want your pool to be based on. There are many choices, so nothing is set by default. When you add games to your pool profile, the screen will refresh. This is normal. Come back to the account tab, and adjust the number of players you will be expecting in this game.

Set Game Options Now that the game is in your profile, you can select it from the Game Configuration selector. Click the options link once this loads, and setup your pools basic options.

Edit your own front page content We call this your "news" and you can feed each game with it's own "news" so if you have a pickem pool, a survivor pool, and a confidence pool for example, you can set them all up with different commentary.

Test Play Test play your game. Depending on whether you're in a cutoff period or not, you should be able to click on the picksheet and play some picks, and see how it works. Once you have everything figured out, it's time to invite your players. Just send them to the same link you see in your welcome email. (that is if you have not already imported this into your own website.

There's More!

There is so much more than this. Including the ability to import this into your own website, setup multiple pool events per game, multiple games per pool, player payment control, and much, much more. Please use the help section found here: www.superbrawl.com
Use the help link on the menu to see more help documents for setting up various settings of your pool.

NFL Confidence Pools 2011-08-28
A confidence pool takes your standard pickem, and pushes it to a new level. With confidence style picking, you are given values from 1 to X. X is the number of games in a week. If your pick is correct, you are awarded that many points. It can make for some high point weeks if you can accumulate some wins. This image shows how the picksheet works. First you select your pick, and then click on the confidence box, and select the value you wish to place on that game. If you`re really confident, you place a high value like 16 on that game. more...
Managing Your Pool 2011-08-27
Probably one of the most important functions of your pool is the ability for you to manage it. When you setup a pool with superbrawl, your player id is setup as the manager of the pool in addition to being a player. This gives you the ability to launch your manager console, while you are playing, viewing a trashtalk board, doing your survivor picks, or just showing up to view your pool. To launch the manager console of your pool, login using your player id and password, and you will see this tools icon in the login bar.
