Survivor Buyback Options 2012-07-23


If you would like your players to continue in survivor (or loser) even though they have suffered a loss, you can give them a "buyback" which will keep them going.

In order to set the buyback, you go to your survivor configuration area, click on picks, and bring up the player. Under the buybacks option, you select how many buybacks you want this player to have.



See the red rectangle? This is where you tell the system how many buybacks this player has.

Now when you see a player in the standings who has purchased a buyback, it will appear like this.

Notice how the player lost a game in week 2, but still shows up in the standings? This is because he bought the right to keep playing.

The program will let you buy the player back a good number of times, but it's up to you to set your own limits and keep the game competitive.

It should be noted, that a buyback does not buy a correct pick, it just keeps the player from being exiled.

A confidence pool takes your standard pickem, and pushes it to a new level. With confidence style picking, you are given values from 1 to X. X is the number of games in a week. If your pick is correct, you are awarded that many points. It can make for some high point weeks if you can accumulate some wins. This image shows how the picksheet works. Managing Your Pool 2011-08-27
Probably one of the most important functions of your pool is the ability for you to manage it. When you setup a pool with superbrawl, your player id is setup as the manager of the pool in addition to being a player. This gives you the ability to launch your manager console, while you are playing, viewing a trashtalk board, doing your survivor picks, or just showing up to view your pool. To launch the manager console of your pool, login using your player id and password, and you will see this tools icon in the login bar.
